Montesoles allotment - grass cutting

I've recently taken on a 5 pole plot in the Montesoles allotments.  The grass is currently over 5 foot tall (this includes some of the pathways).  I spoke with someone at the Harrow council allotments team and was told the grass is cut twice a year and was due to be cut in June.  The allotments team have advised me that they do not deal with the grass cutting, but passed the request on to the relevant department.  This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago.  I had a look this evening and it still hasn't been cut.  Does anyone know who I can contact to get this done?  I noticed there's a Harrow in LEAF site representative, is it worth pursuing this route?  Or should I continue down the allotments team route? Any ideas?

Thanks

All I know is that there are always problems with grass cutting and it's not just on the allotments it's everywhere.
I would go back to the allotments team and follow it up with them. If they say it's someone else who does it then get their number and follow it up yourself.
The Harrow in leaf rep on our site is very helpful but I don't like to bog him down with every single thing as he does loads for us already.

The season of grass cutting has obviously commenced as Kingsley Road S. was cut last week. My answer would be to be patient and it will get done. However there is no reason why the allotmenteer at Montesoles should not keep pestering the Council and at the same time obtain a job number!

Thanks for the advice.  I will definitely go back to the Council and start pestering them to get a telephone and / or job number.  Hopefully it will be just a matter of time.
