How do I get rid of a wasp nest in my compost heap? Or will they move on, or die at the end of the year? Anybody got any advice please Rolling Eyes

As far as I know they will just leave the nest in a couple of months (as it gets colder) and then you can turn the heap over and break up what's inside. But my knowledge is mostly about different types of Bees.

Some wasps are beneficial and less non-aggressive. And then there are "Yellow Jackets" and I have already been stung by one this year picking an apple up in the garden. A friends child got stung twice in the face eating one. They are in their dozens here as they love apples and my tree is laden with them.

For more information on Getting Rid of Wasps try the web, here's a helpful site to get you started
